SAN MARCOS COMPETITION TANNING
What is Competition Tanning?
A competition tan is a type of tan that is often used in bodybuilding competitions. Competition tans are designed to accentuate the muscle definition of the competitor, and as such, they are usually darker than traditional tans. Competition tans are typically applied using an airbrush, and they can last for several days. In addition to providing a more defined appearance, competition tans can also help to hide blemishes and imperfections on the skin. As a result, competition tanning has become a popular way for bodybuilders to prepare for competition.
Competition tanning is a process that helps to ensure that the skin is evenly tanned and free of any blemishes. The first step is to exfoliate the skin in order to remove any dead skin cells. This will help the tanner to evenly distribute the product and prevent streaks. Next, the competition tanner will apply a thin layer of self-tanner to the skin. Once the self-tanner has been applied, it is important to let it dry for at least 20 minutes before getting dressed. Finally, once the self-tanner has had time to dry, competition tanners will apply a setting powder to help set the Tan and prevent it from rubbing off on clothing.
